The information online is conflicting. A lot of sources say get a new battery at around 80%, but Apple’s guidance says from iPhone 11 onwards, there are new processes (and hardware I think) that actually stop performance throttling so it’s no longer an issue. This has been the thing I needed confirming to actually get a new battery! Thank you!

Battery replacements in Australia (for me of course) are 109/110$ AUD, when I converted it to Rupee, it was almost 6000 Rupee not including shipping. Note that it could be different in your country.
It’s £49 to get it replaced for a genuine Apple battery in an Apple store. YES - do it! It's $31 with tax and they actually replaced my entire phone. The battery has adhesive/tape on it that they couldn't remove cleanly so they replaced my 7+ with a brand new 7+. I think it's nice to know that all of the components are new for $31. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP BEFORE YOU WALK IN.
