Posted 24 May, 2018 (edited) It depends on the phone, but most models default to the wireless charger so the cable would work for data only. It won’t use both so either way it’s a similar charge time. You would also need to connect the wireless charger to a USB socket adapter (permanent live in the mk3 Superb).
Hey all, I bought my Skoda Superb Business 2.0 TDI, 2010 today, and overall I love it. There is a little "issue" with the bluetooth module however. And by issue I don't mean that it doesn't work, it does it's job great, but it lacks the ability to stream audio. I read one of the stickies on here,
Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015) bluetooth Marketplace - Please use the new template for selling your car. (Click here to read) bluetooth. Posted 12 October, 2010.
Strange, I actually thought that all Fabia vRS's do come with Bluetooth/telephone as standard. Mine has it and isn't well specced otherwise. Just go through the menu on the MFD and it should be there to connect to a phone, have you tried that? 1.
Still figuring out connections on new car but it seems if you don't have SIM then you need USB cable for Mirrorgate, Android Auto, Smart link + or carplay, then BT for easiest phone connection and WiFi hotstop for Skoda Connect. - When I get into the car, my phone (bluetooth on, wifi on) is not able to connect most of the times to Android Auto. When I initiate the connection, it says "Unable to connect". If I hold the power off button for the infotainment system for ~20 seconds and restart it, then Android Auto connects without a problem.
